Susan Angoy on the painting Emergence

I was attracted to this piece straight away for the calming beautiful blues. It’s part of Yeside’s Mental Health series. I loved her reason for doing this series in these difficult times. I knew that whenever I looked at the painting it would remind me of how lucky i am to enjoy my homes surroundings with beautiful walks, and of course it makes me smile every time I look at it. 😊
The painting was delivered straight away with easy payment method and I will definitely be purchasing again from this wonderful artist.

I bought “NHS in time of Coronavirus” from Yeside, whose artwork I’ve admired for some time. I love royal blue, so it appealed to me straight away. But I particularly wanted a reminder from this period in history.

I have enjoyed collecting art for quite sometime ,be it painting or sculpture and have not only been able to successfully discover things nationally but locally as well. For me I know instantly when I like a work of art; it has to capture my attention, coupled with the fact that it has to be well executed.

Yeside’s Triptych which I bought last year, did both those things. It caught my eye immediately and on closer inspection it was technically proficient. It hangs in what we call our music room and fits very well in its surroundings, giving a note of classicism!

Yeside’s painting caught my eye because of the beautiful colours and the warmth it portrayed. The framing was perfect and I am thrilled with it. I loved the picture of a passion fruit flower so much that I bought two plants for my garden so I can see them inside and outside my home. The fact that Yeside donates some of the payment to young artists was also important as we have to look after our young people, now more than ever.

I have been following Yeside on Instagram for some time and have been impressed with her ability to paint in such a wide range of styles. Indeed there are many many paintings that I would love to own. Having looked through her work on the website several times, I decided to buy  the painting ‘Senses of Insecurity’ and I am delighted with it. The combination of colours and textures are really appealing and stand out  effectively in the room in which it now hangs.

On another note, the sales transaction went really smoothly – I emailed Yeside one evening and was able to collect the painting the following afternoon – very impressive.

I love this picture [Harbour Lockdown]; it’s colour, texture and subject as well as the woman who painted it, Yeside Linney. A warm, cultured, intelligent woman who produces an eclectic mix of mediums and styles to suit all tastes.
